Programme for January – May 2020

January
Life Drawing
Life sessions resume on Thursday January 23rd, and continue on Thursday evenings from 7.00-9.00p.m. There are 10 sessions, with a break on February 20th, and ending on April 2nd. Venue is Parkhurst Hall at the Methodist Church in Parkhurst Road in Bexhill. No experience needed. Bring your own materials. Small tables are provided. We have a variety of models.
£60 for ten sessions, or sign up for a trial £30 for five sessions.

February
Portrait Group
Term begins on Monday 3rd February, 9.30 – 12.00 at St. Peter’s Community Centre in Bexhill Old Town.
Price £60 for the term (10 sessions). £7 for a single session.
Subsequent sessions -10th, 17th and 24th February.

Life Drawing
The Thursday Evening Life Drawing sessions continue on February 6th, 13th and 27th (no session on the 20th). For details please see the January entry.
Tuesday Afternoon Workshops.
2.15 – 4.15 pm in the small hall at St. Stephens Church, Down Road (parking by the church or in Woodsgate Park).
Tuesday 4th and Tuesday 18th February: ‘Working Creatively with Pastels’ (Madeleine). Soft, hard and pastel pencils – bring whatever you have and a variety of rough papers such as sugar paper and pastel paper.
Some members have already paid for all 8 workshops but if you have not done so, the remaining workshops are each £5 per (individual) session. Enquiries to Maggie or via the contact form (please type ‘pastels’ in the subject box.
Open Studios at Bexhill Museum
We have been able to book our regular monthly open studio dates at Bexhill Museum again. In 2020 we will be working in the Education room on the following Sundays (mostly the second Sunday of each month): February 9th, March 8th, April 5th, May 10th, June 14th, July 12th, August 9th, September 13th, October 11th and November 8th. Members can come between 11.00a.m. and 4.p.m. to display their work and complete new pieces. The cost is £4.00 a session, tea and coffee are provided but please bring your own lunch.

March

The first week using water- soluble inks, the second week using waterproof ink with watercolour. Bring whatever pens and inks you have as we will not use much and can share. Bring a variety of smooth and rough papers if possible.
Price £5 per session if you have not already paid for a reduced ‘season ticket’ for the whole winter.
