In the first part of this presentation, Dave will demonstrate that you don’t need expensive software to have creative fun with photographs.  He will demonstrate the use of some free (and freely available) Windows software that can modify photographs to produce dramatic and surreal images.

In the second half of the presentation, Dave will go online and demonstrate the use of AI software to create images from text descriptions, and explore the capabilities and limitations of current AI offerings.  In this part of the demonstration, suggestions from the participants will be welcome.

Please note – this ‘workshop’ is a demonstration, using a laptop coupled to a projector and large screen.  While Dave will explain things as clearly as possible, the demonstration will not be ‘hands on’ and will not claim to teach any of the skills needed.  There will be a handout listing the software that is being demonstrated.
